American Terror: Company Man does it again at this years heavy hitting independent film festival, First Glance. This time we took two awards, Best Animated Drama and Best Animation. It was an honor to be accepted let alone receive such high praise! Thanks to all the folks who run the festival. We've got some really exciting things cooking for other American Terror projects. But we're not telling what just yet! Thanks for the support.



American Terror Gets Some Press::

Alterna Comics, plusher of American Terror: Confessions of Human Smart Bomb and other great graphic novels, gives some love to theFictory. theFictory Scores Big in Lancaster::

In addition to being honored in Philadelphia, theFictory also recieved high praise at this years Rumschpringe Short Film Festival. This year's celebration was great to be a part of, big props to Mike Hoober for trying to make something cool happen here in Lancaster, PA. This year we took Best in the categories from Animation (American Terror) and Family (Somos La Banda) in addition to tieing for best in show! Mary Haverstick, local filmaker (Home), presented the awards and gave a great presentation.

Also our Champbelt from the Philly Fest, finally finds it's home above my desk in the studio.

Wow... On April 6th theFictory founder Joseph W. Krzemienski accepted the award for Best Animated Short. Presented at the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia, in front of a packed house, the award was received with a big smile and appreciation all around. Thank you so much to all of the people at the Philadelphia Film Society and a special Shout out to Andy Williams from DIVE.

The award was nothing less than a freakin' championship belt (think boxing only dorkier)! We'll post some pictures as soon as we have something cool enough to share with the world!



New Projects in Development::

theFictory is mobilizing! As if we didn't have enough on our plates promoting our finished projects!. Look out for posts for new and exciting projects already in development. We can't go into details yet, but we can say that some will be new... and some will be incredible re-imaginings.


Welcome to the New and Improved Fictory::

In tandem with the Premier of our most recent short film, American Terror: Company Man, We're launching a new look for the fictory. We promise to be better about Updating the site. There's been so much happening lately, that It's hard to keep up! In addition to building a resume of film accolades, recently Fictory founder Joseph W. Krzemienski has joined forces with Allen J. Clements (Otaku Motion) to form a new company... Postage Inc. Postage is a new media company and commercial face for theFictory and Otaku Motion, respectively. Both sister companies will still exist and will become incubators for their creator's imaginations.

In related Fictory news, Jeff McComsey (creator of American Terror) and Dominic Vivona (of Gunplay fame) have joined the crusade in developing a new face for western animation. More on that later!s
