8 Bit Hits – Mega Man ::
Saturday, February 25th, 2012
When Courtland told me he wanted to begin a series of illustrations featuring Stabb & Gunner duking it out with some of the very characters that inspired our comic… Well, it didn’t take much convincing to get me on board! Above is the first in the series.
I’ve always been a huge Mega Man fan, but when they brought the classic blue bomber to the Playstation a circuit fried in my brain. Try and watch this video without cringing.
Seriously, fuck you, guy who cast that actor for Mega Man.
If you were sadistic enough to hang on till the end, your limitless patience was rewarded by a Dr. Light apparently voiced by a slightly more comprehensible cousin of the priest from Princess Bride’s Marriage Scene? What the hell was going on over at Capcom? Sorry Mega Man, you had it coming.
We’ll be doing more in the series, but feel free to put in suggestions for your own hit in the comments.
